Lily threw a helpless, apologetic glance at Severus, and looked cluelessly at the boy. She was positive she had never seen him before in her entire life.
"I'm your son, Harry, from the future," Harry told her. He tried to smile at her and ignore Snape, but ignoring Snape was very difficult to do. He wanted to hex the slimy git for being so close to his mum, whether she enjoyed it or not. He wondered what his father would do in this situation.
"I think you must be mistaken," Lily tried to tell the boy politely, but she was unable to keep her voice calm. She sounded as though she might have been on the edge of hysterics.
"I know it seems weird, but you are. Your name is Lily. You're going to marry James Potter and have me," Harry told her, without much thought for how this knowledge could affect her. "And you," he said, turning to Severus, "your name is Severus Snape. You're going to be a Potions professor later." Harry stopped himself before he could add And I don't know why you're with my mum, but let go of her before I hex the life out of you.
