Her voice was inciting Rodolphus, inflaming him to a fever pitch he'd never imagined before, a feeling so exquisite it was almost sexual. He wanted to obey her, to do as she wished, wanted to watch his victim write in the pain of the cruciatus curse. He needed to torture people, animals had become old news - he desired to try something new, find bigger thrills.
Something was surging inside of him, feelings he'd never had before. Feelings for Bellatrix. He was surprised by this passion for someone he'd known most of his life. He thrilled to the fire in her eyes, to the lust in her voice, believed it was for him and him alone. And in that moment his body became more than aware that she was a female. A very hot sexy and desireable female.
He raised his wand, oblivious to the world around him, his mind ceasing to function on more than a basic level, for surely if it was working properly he would have realized that using one of the Unforgiveable Curses was a guaranteed trip to Azkaban for life. But he wasn't thinking clearly, and he wanted to do this thing, to please Bella, so very badly.
He was therefore shocked to find his wand fly from his grasp. Outraged he turned toward the sound of the muted, "Expelliarmus!" only to be confronted by a furious Lucius Malfoy.
"Are you mad?" Lucius hissed. "Both of you?" His disgusted gaze raked over them both. "Do you know what you are risking? And for what?" He had caught Rodolphus' wand handily, and he moved toward them, holding it against his body. "Your futures are at stake here. Do you want me to ruin them with a word? You know you are of no use to Him in Azkaban. Either of you."
Rodolphus was livid, but he held his anger in check. Too many emotions and sensations were battling for control; it would be interesting to see which won out.
