"Luna!" he exclaimed, quite surprised to see her. He hadn't been expecting to see anyone he knew, but that was mainly because he was too wrapped up in his dilemma at home to think of much else. He wasn't at all sure what kind of gift would best say "I'm sorry" to his girlfriend of four years. He only knew it had to be something good, from the heart. But there were just too many interesting trinkets in Diagon Alley. He knew Hermione loved books, but she already had a lot of books...
He made his way over to the small table at which Luna sat, glancing at her parchment and the quill in her hand. "Hard at work, I see. How are you?"
He couldn't help but smile despite his troubles. Luna had a way about her that could instantly cheer him up. It was just a part of her personality.
