Now Harry was angry. "I did nothing to her," he said to Ron, clenching his fists also. It was true - he had never expressed interest in Ginny or done anything to lead her to believe he felt the same way about her. All the same, he had never been rude or ignored her. Which way did Ron want it? Harry couldn't change his feelings, after all.
This was too much for Ginny to take. She felt the tears coming to her eyes and kept her head down, hoping nobody was looking at her anymore. Her cheeks were bright red, especially now that Ron had focused the conflict on her.
Harry remained standing straight, his hands curled into fists and prepared to defend Hermione if anyone decided to turn on her. He didn't care what they said about him.
