Sirius hated the sound of Severus' voice. He hated everything about him, truth be told. He locked eyes with the Slytherin, even as he heard his apology accepted, and he just knew that it wasn't over between them, even if they had both signed a temporary cease fire. But Sirius had also learned a very valuable lesson - he could never pull a prank involving Remus' wolf, not ever again. It had been a painful lesson to learn, and he wasn't willing to put his friend, or himself, through such a thing ever again.
There was no more to be said, was there. A thank you would have been nice, but Sirius didn't consider it mandatory. He turned to Remus, his eyes softening at the sight of his friend. "Why don't we go to the kitchen and see if we can get a snack?" he suggested softly, hoping to put him into a good humor.
"Maybe chocolate?" he added, knowing his friend's fondness for the stuff. Of course he was not averse to having it himself. He just wanted to please Remus, to make thing all right between them once again.
