It was smart of him. One good thing about going to a crowded place was all the opportunities to blend in - not just for him, but her. She did not want to be conspicuous right now. Her heart sank as she thought about his purpose and how the rest of this phone call would go. Would it end in disappointment, without her having so much as a glimpse of him? What exactly did he want from her, anyway?
Would he tell her if she asked?
