Who: Eddie Carmichael [Open] When: March 4th, 2003 Where: Diagon Alley What: Satisfying a Craving Rating: PG-13 Status: Incomplete
Eddie liked to consider himself a sane person, but there were times when he questioned his belief in his sanity. The temperature was in the negatives, there was snow billowing around, he was wearing three pairs of socks in order to keep his feet warm, and he had a huge craving for chocolate ice cream. He wasn't even a big fan of chocolate. It simply didn't make sense to him. Every time it got relatively cold all he could think about was chocoalte ice cream.
Of course, his craving was what had led him into Diagon alley in the first place. He hadn't ventured too far after returning to the Wizarding community. Flourish and Blotts, The Leaky Cauldron, and that was about it. Today, though, he wasn't headed to either of those establishments. Today he would be visiting Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor. He could have quickly ran out to a muggle convenience store and purchased ice cream, but he didn't want to have to avoid the muggle observers and in all honesty Florean's had the best chocolate ice cream he'd ever had the pleasure of tasting.
It hadn't taken long to get his order given that he was one of three customers crazy enough to be eating the cold treat in the early days of March. Once he had his ice cream in hand, he headed toward a seat by the window. He may have been crazy enough to eat ice cream but he certainly wasn't crazy enough to eat it outside.
