Draco had long since left the office and made a failed attempt to meet with Evelyn. He was running out of time, and she still kept evading him. Perhaps that was the wrong way of looking at it. Draco was just certain she'd gotten bored of waiting for him and left, either on her own or with someone else. No matter. He would try again tomorrow. Though he was a bit irritated that she'd wasted a good two hours of his time.
Returning home, Draco intended to work on what he'd hoped to have gotten help with from Evelyn. He'd just do it himself for now. Unlocking the door, he entered his flat. He removed his coat and hung it up in the coat closet. Draco's flat was very obviously a bachelor flat. No more furniture than necessary, but what he did have was decked out to the extreme. Everything in it was top of the line. To the observer, it looked cold. But when one sat on the sofa or curled up in the oversized chair in the corner, they would find it to be soft and comforting. ..Sort of like him.
As he further entered his own, Draco found the sliding door to the balcony open. For a moment, he froze. An intruder? In this area of town? Raising an eyebrow, he saw a familiar head of blonde hair outside. How long had she been standing out there?
He walked towards the balcony, pausing only to pull a soft quilt his mother had given him off the back of the sofa. As he stepped outside to join her, Draco draped it around her shoulders. "You'll catch your death out here," he said softly, keeping his arms around her from behind to help warm her up.
