Hey y'all! My name's Brittany, I'm brand new, and I'm bringing in Rae Adler-Hayes.

Rae (short for Rafaella but please don't ever call her that) is 31, a witch, and originally from NYC but has been in LA for the past two years. She works as a bartender at Midnight and also does some freelance magic work, mostly defensive and offensive spells, and protective charms, amulets and talismans, as well as other charms and spells. Basically, anything that doesn't require her to have to brew potions or grow anything. She's knowledgeable about plants and how to use them but hates having to grow them herself. She's willing to do almost anything as long as the pay is right and she doesn't have to sacrifice a baby for it. But she also refuses to get involved in any supernatural mess or turf war shit so don't bring that to her door. Overall she's pretty gruff and closed off towards new people and strangers, she prefers to let people come to her and start conversations with her rather than making the first move. Once she gets to know someone she'll be protective and soft towards them.

So, this is Holland Bronwyn, she's a vampire, almost 200 years old and she does have a little chip on her shoulder, she was a Countess in a former life, is used to a lot of the finer things. She's coming in from Miami, where she's lived for a long time with the witch family that she's bonded with. Holland is basically checking out the area before her precious little witch bff follows with the rest of their stuff.

She's relatively cool and aloof with strangers, and first impressions aren't her best thing, but she is a lot judgy and vain. She's one of the most loyal people in the world though, if you get into her circle, definitely one to have in your corner if you need back up. There's more here for plotting or info.

I’m FJ, I’ve been away from the IJ community for a few years, and am super excited to be jumping back in!

I’m bringing in Colbie Adams, older sister to Ryder, but she was told a little over a year ago that her brother was killed, so she’s got a shock ahead for her.

Colbie is a criminal prosecution attorney, nothing makes her happier than helping people. She’s very outgoing and extroverted, can be brash, and is the sort of person to just adopt any wayward person she comes across. She makes friends quickly and easily and is not afraid to approach anyone if she thinks they could be interesting to know. She’s the sort of person who will drop everything for a friend in need, but she’s also hard headed and argumentative (lawyer).

Colbie only moved to LA last month, she was living in Seattle before. I have that one of her best friends moved here in the last year or so, so that could be a fun connection to have. Otherwise Colbie is easy to run into lol, she’s always out and about so please throw some connections my way!

The full moon is approaching, all wolves will be in full furry form the nights of the 18th, 19th and 20th.

Lone wolves can change at any national park, pack wolves have designated places to change with their packs. Any wolves changing too close to the city are likely to be locked up overnight by the CPD.

A member of the Green pack, Cassidy's a born wolf who rolled into town about five years ago and has spent the time since working on becoming a functional, happyish werewolf. He currently works internal security over at Midnight, when he's not letting people crash on his couch or going for midnight bike rides. Overall, he's dedicated, pack-focused and just trying to live his life. The only people he has a problem with are nonpack humans, but he won't start nothing if they don't, so he should be good.

He's open for coworkers, packmates, new friends, possible bad or good run-ins with humans, anything really!

Hello there everyone. So, heads up, I'm bad at intros, with that in mind, Hi there, I'm Kate and Squid dragged me here with a skip in her step.

This is Troy Hendriks, he's a bitten wolf primarily from Maryland but relocating for rather personal reasons, he's working for an online news firm right now and does the occasional private security gig too. Troy is a pretty friendly guy, but he is hot tempered, although his fights tend to be fast, hard and then forgotten and he'd probably end up sharing a drink with the guy the next day. He's still getting a handle on all these out of whack emotional impulses thing.

He's been a wolf now for almost ten years, so he's kind of settled into that aspect of things, he will be trying to find a new pack, looking for anyone to take him in, since he had to depart his last area. There's lots more about him here, and I'm up for any lines, threads and plots.

A born werewolf and a cop, he's only been in LA for about six months now, trying to get settled. His pack was back in Chicago, but due to a...bit of a mess with his last case, he's not really able to return, so he'll be looking for a pack here. Eventually. When he gets to it. He's trying, he swears. Other than that - polite, organized, protective and a touch insecure.

He's completely open for any lines honestly.

BRETT CONROY (theurgy)
A local witch, grew up in LA, she's from a rather well known family, typically friendly to wolves thanks to her great-grandmother's affinity with them, but on the whole, she's a neutral party in things. Brett is a guidance counsellor in a high school, she lives within the community and tries her best to help wherever she can.

She specialises in charms and enchantments, does tarot and palm readings on the side but usually only for friends of friends or in the community at large.

RAINE SAGE (superbass)
Raine, my latest, is a mermaid with a fun and quirky outlook on life. She's still fairly young but is getting the crash course in species from her friends she's made (open lines btw). Raine comes from the Indian ocean and she still likes to head out there from time to time to see her clutch, which isn't due to happen for a few years but she's getting a few pangs for her buddies.

Raine is fine with her sexuality and using her body for attention, but she's typically rather sweet and innocent in certain aspects -although she does play honey pot and work as an adult entertainer. She has a fun time at every karaoke bar she attends and is never shy about getting the party started.

These girls, plus Noell and Shiloh are fully open for lines and scenes, hit me up if you wanna do anything or plot stuff.

Hey everyone! I'm Nic and for my first character, I'm bringing in Emma here. She is a new-ish werewolf, was bitten about a year ago and only been in LA for about that length of time too. She is a member of the Hunter pack, so definitely hit me up if you got another pack member!

In a nutshell, Emma is a prickly pear on the outside but on the inside she's actually quite sensitive and pretty desperate for close relationships. She comes from a small town where she had a bad reputation. She grew up having a hot temper and a slew of dysfunctional relationships. She falls hard and fast for the bad boys but is actually a die-hard romantic. At first glance, she's surly and grumpy and still shaky on controlling her still new-ish wolf instincts.

She's found a good home with the Hunt pack and has taken well to having a sense of belonging finally. I want all the connections with pack members especially! When Emma first arrived she was hot blooded, touchy, and emotional. Dominant wolves would have found she needed to be checked sometimes, but she responded well to having structure and people who were looking out for her. She's still fiery but she respects pecking order and is extremely loyal. I'd like for her to have a very close relationship with her packmates.

Formerly, she was a waitress but I'd like her to start cutting a new path that she likes better. Ideas? Any openings/willing to take her on as an apprentice? I'd also like her to branch out and have some friends with other species to make things tense as the war starts brewing!

I'm also planning on bringing in a witch and possibly a dragon so hopefully I'll be introing more characters soon!

Sabine Lucas (@stained_glass)

A little over 400 years old, Sabine's your local friendly(ish) black dragon with an eye for coins (electrum and wishing well) and avoiding attention. She's the assistant at Bait & Switch, and does her best to maintain an air of class and sophistication (not always successfully). She's honest, if a bit callous at times, with a temper she tries her best to hide. If she's not at the store or home, you'd probably find her at the Antique, or out and about with a friend. She's been in LA a little over 60 years now, but has mostly stuck to the supernatural corner.

Lines I'm looking for: friends, customers, black market connections, fellow older characters to complain about the youngins these days, any other ideas because honestly it's totally open

August Parish (@hewnfall)

30 years old and still just trying to figure it all out, August is a witch that works as an artist over at Skin Talks, and has for the last five years. He's not a very good witch, but what he is good at is enchanting inks for specialty tattoos. And that's about it. He's a little rough around the edges, and finds it hard to remember to smile, but he honestly enjoys people and wants to be around them. While he spent a good bit of time trying to get himself into the tattoo scene in LA, and has a customer base to show that, he hasn't explored much beyond that.

Lines for him: friends, exes (good or bad terms would work!), customers (current and new), co-workers at Skin Talks, and again, any other ideas are cool too!

SHILOH LARK (iceblasts)
Shiloh is a white dragon, she's just over 100 years old, so still relatively young, she's friendly but a little shy and reserved. She soaks up information like a sponge, and she tutors on occasion to keep herself fresh, but also runs a blog that's lifestyle, crafts, food, real life hacks and different little things she comes up with over time.

I'd love lines with anyone in the educational aspects, anyone that Shiloh can either learn from or help teach. Just friends in general tbh, of any species, because Shiloh will even try to befriend the most grumpy of people.

NOELL PASCAL (insolence)
On the other end of the spectrum is Noell, a 100+ vampire who has a serious attitude problem and isn't afraid to show it. Noell has a violent streak, nothing that'll draw too much attention her way, but she has a terrible habit of riling up werewolves for the sake of it. She came from a terrible sire who played mind games and toyed with her and her eventual vampire sibling, so she's a little messed up from that.

What Noell is really looking for is victims -people to goad and poke at, we can discuss levels of comfort there, she could do with a few like minded friends, if anyone is willing to put up with her shit. She's also on the hunt for a witch that displays a modicum of what she thinks of as talent -she's got high standards though.

Like I said, I'm up for any plots, random scenes and building lines. Hit me up any time.

I'm Mena, one of the mods here, dropping in with my character introduction. Some of you I know and some of you that don't, for those that I don't know, I can be reached via nevergaveafrak#7714 on Discord or at menaharper87@gmail.com, though I tend to respond more quickly to Discord messages.

I currently have two three four five six characters here, with a few others in the works because I have no self control. The ones that I have right now are:

glassofmoonligt - Ryder Adams, he's a werewolf, turned a little while back but has been on his own since his turning. He's struggling hardcore due to the whole wolf-isolation thing. He works at Tooth & Nail and Midnight as a bartender, he's pretty shy so being behind the bar gives him a bit of a boost to be able to talk to people. Lines I'm looking for: mostly friendship, and probably looking to get him drawn into a pack at some point. He's relatively new to LA so still doesn't really know anyone, and he's learning about different species through interaction alone, so that should be fun!

canberedeemed - Billy Crowley, a vampire, he's just about a hundred but he likes to pretend that he's stopped counting the years. He "died" during WWII in 1945, went through a bit of an addiction problem which resulted in him receiving a lifetime ban from Boston and a stint in a supernatural jail cell. He's a police officer with the LAPD and during the full moons he also works with the CPD helping patrol the city limits to make sure there's no weres there that shouldn't be. He's partial to Black Velvet and The Antique. His bio is here.

Lines I'm looking for: Other LAPD/CPD friends would be good, he's been in LA for 30 years now so he's probably made acquaintances with those who live within the city limits anyway. He's generally quite a Personable Dude save for his Secret Dark History. Other vampire friends, various other species, too, he quite likes werewolves as he got to know a few when he was in jail.

fromthegroundup - Waverley Merida, mermaid, in her early thirties (please don't remind her, it upsets her greatly). She's been in LA and working at The Jam Jar for about a decade now, give or take, and has worked her way up to the general manager but that doesn't mean she doesn't remember how you like your coffee. She still serves behind the counter occasionally but is more than happy to sit and have a chat. She's outgoing, friendly, bubbly and generally an all around nice girl but she's a terrible flirt. Lines I'm looking for: friends, patrons, regulars, anyone who wants to have a fun lil' flirt with someone who doesn't do serious. She's super personable and a text fiend, so. If you are friends with her, she will be texting a fair bit.

whitewitching - Kitty Davenport, she's in her mid-twenties and is a witch. She works for Elijah and is pretty outspoken, very passionate about the human and super rights and both equality and equity (and she will ramble about the diffference if she realises that you don't know the difference. She has pictures and slides, so best not to get her started). She's made it her life's work to try and ease the pain werewolves feel during their transition. She just wants to Help People. She also has her very own hellhound which has resulted in a rather underdeveloped sense of danger.

Lines I'm looking for: friends, witches, fellow activists! She's been in LA her whole life and has been an active participant in the supernatural community for all of that time. Her mom died in 2016 in a hate crime (it was an accident, the humans arrested for it swore, they didn't know the building wasn't empty) and her mother's death was pretty well known in the witch community.

silentlyhowling - Dawson Nolan, early thirties, werewolf. He was attacked when he was a teenager along with his father. He was in LA after his turning until just under five year ago when he and his twin seethroughalens heard that their mom was in an accident. Sadly, she passed away and they've spent the last few years sorting out her estate and getting both of their parents' affairs in order. Now they're back in LA.

NB: Dawson was born with a genetic defect which meant that his inner ears didn't form properly. This means he is profoundly deaf and turning into a werewolf didn't fix it because it's a genetic deformity rather than an illness/injury/disease that can be repaired by the lycanthropy shift. He has a spelled crystal that allows him a form of semi-telepathic communication in that he can project his thoughts into one person's head at a time but he can't actually hear anything back, meaning he's reliant on other forms of communication for other people to speak to him, though he can speak to them. He can lip-read but predominantly communicates in ASL. Drew is often his interpreter when they're out and about, but a few of his old friends had started learning ASL to communicate with him.

Lines I'm looking for: Old friends -- Dawson was in LA for fourteen years and was part of a shitty pack (that's now moved on), but he was part of the supernatural scene. He used to work at the public library, I'm sure there are people who've been in LA for ages that might have crossed paths with him? Also, new friends and people to hang out with would be wonderful for my lonely little werewolf bae as he has his brother but he doesn't have pack anymore, and he definitely needs that.

dracosomniates - Johnny Wilson, not a very draconic name for not a very draconic dragon. Johnny was raised by humans so isn't particularly good at dragoning. In fact, he isn't even sure how he changed between dragon-human-dragon-human, it seems to have happened largely by accident. He's in tremendous amounts of debt due to obsessively collecting the Newest Big Thing (which means that he's in line for the new iPhone the day it comes out even though he got the previous new one six months ago). He's super generous with the old stuff, though. He hasn't found his one-true-item yet, but technology does in a pinch to at least settle his need to collect something.

Lines I'm looking for: friends in general, people to help him Supernatural a little better than he currently does? People that can help him budget omg and also just introduce him to the world, take him under their wing - metaphorically or literally, I don't mind which!

danceinthe_rain - Mariana Garcia, human and a dancer, come to LA to look for her brother who's been missing for the last five years. She's not fully involved in the Supernatural community just yet but she wants to be. She's a dancer at Midnight having left a promising Broadway career after her parents were deported.

Lines I'm looking for: friends, colleagues etc. She could do with a housemate.

curiouszack - Zack Welsch, human, precious smol bean. Runs a blog where he tries to uncover secrets that don't wanna be uncovered. Has very poor sense of self preservation, likes the intrigue of secrets but not the fame/praise for uncovering them. He's also 100% likely to just yeet himself into any kind of dangerous situation.

Lines I'm looking for: friends, people to take care of him and stop him getting himself killed by asking the wrong questions...

chaineddown - Koa Etana Ka'uhane, werewolf, adopted son of Roman. Friend to Gabe and Ainsley (touch them at your peril). He's an all around good guy and disaster bisexual who believes in free love and doesn't always understand consequences. He's dumber than a bag of rocks but has a really big heart. He's the guy you can convince to do something because 'it looks cool' or 'it looks like fun'. Not invincible but behaves as though he is.

Lines I'm looking for: friends, ex-flings, troublemaker acquaintances. Koa grew up in the area so he's likely to have been around. He's in the Hunt pack.
