He couldn't help but smirk and chuckle for what Devon said about his sister, lifting his own beer for a drink. What he followed it up with wasn't surprising, but it did answer his question on where the guy fell on this whole thing.
"Didn't say nothin' about joinin' my pack." He arched a brow at Devon with his smirk going a bit sly. There were two other chairs at their table and he planted his foot on one in a casual posture. He wasn't trying to impress, intimidate or threaten Devon. Just a business conversation.
"Wouldn't be the first time our house gave shelter to the lonely ones, and right now ain't a time to be out there on your own. There's a peck of hunters out there lookin' for our blood." His eyes went deadly serious. "They've already killed two alphas, two betas and tortured a third."
