"You need an outlet, a place to get away. My art is like that." She tossed back the next shot and sipped the beer. She could sympathize with mourning even though she hadn't lost anyone close to her in death, losing family or being separated from your pack was something like death in her opinion. She still missed her pack in France.
"No, I guessed. My friend is from Colorado and he was telling me that California was going through some difficult times right now, so I guessed that might be you." She shrugged a little. "I was asking him about families because I thought I might be looking for one soon. I don't like being alone."
