Grace was glad to see that Jo was starting to come back to herself, to the tough girl who could get past any obstacle that was put in front of her. Not that she begrudged her for being emotional about this whole thing-- because holy crap, who wouldn't be-- but she knew Jo, and she knew that she probably wasn't enjoying taking such a far step away from her own comfort zone. She needed to take it one day at a time and not push herself, and Grace would be right beside her the whole way.
"Good. He'd better not, the douchebag," she said waspishly, putting her hands on her hips. She'd never actually met Ian, as he'd never bothered to come with Jo on her visits to see Grace in New York, but she'd heard enough shitty things about him by this point that she never wanted to, unless it was to kick him in the balls. That, she could definitely do. "Thanks, hun. Keep me posted. I'm sure he won't find you here as long as we're careful."
She nodded at Jo's suggestion and started walking with her, limping slightly from how many times she'd tripped on her way here. "So tell me, what's the plan from here on out? Are you staying in your car or are you gonna buy a small place? 'Cause if you are, we're rooming together. No question about it."
