"Uhhhhhhhh..." was the intelligent reply that left her lips after his question. She let out a bit of an oops-smile before giving a slightly hapless shrug. "Too much work," she finally said instead.
At his question, she brightened up immediately. Any leftover sleepies that had been hanging around her eyes vanished with a topic that she absolutely loves. "Well," she began in a conspiracy whisper, "I think anybody who really believes had to have seen or heard something at one point in their lives. Me? I think I've seen a lot. I mean, I've not captured anything on film, but I've come damn close. When I was 15, my parents let me go to Scotland for a trip. I wanted to see the Loch Ness Monster, you see. I didn't see him," she admitted in a bit of a low voice before continuing louder, "But! While there, I swear I saw something that night. It was a full moon, so it was all bright for a night... and I swear something was out there. I can't say what, but I know it was."
She grinned, continuing out without missing a bit. "And on the way here, I stopped in Estes Park, just a few hours from here. And you know that's where they filmed The Shining? Great, creepy movie... And I got to stay in that very hotel. It was awesome. Creepy, very creepy, but really awesome!"
