Tyler had down his first and was half way through his second when Madeline returned. He couldn't help but smile some when she came back, him pleasantly surprised to find himself rather relieved she wasn't blowing him off and was quick about checking in on drinks. Good girl. "Yeah, sure, why not," he mused as he picked up his drink and downed the rest before putting the empty glass back on the wood bar top. "AH!" he let out, being comical and over the top with it but not minding as he gives her his normally dazzling and happy smile.
"So I'm new to this place, just got into town last week," he starts, figuring striking up conversation was key to keeping her attendance and well, she would know the city right? Asking her questions probably was wise. "Know of anywhere looking for a short hand cook? Any burger joints that don't say McDonalds or Burger King?" While he didn't mind cooking, he was a bit honest about preferring the small diners that were family ran over the corporate chains. For one, his record was there and corporates tended to frown and not ask questions. And for two, he believed in small business and hated that America was losing them to corporate garbage. When he worked he took pride in what he served. Some piece of over processed garbage was not something he wanted to feed people.
