"Oh." She ducked her head, reaching up to push some dark hair from her face, and she smiled. "My parents were both vets of a sort. My mom specialized in wild horses and my dad wolves, their habitats, behaviors, stuff like that."
Once that was explained, she nodded. "I've heard that Colorado has a good amount of woodland life. Whenever my dad talked about wolves, he mentioned that they usually leave people alone, unless people get too close their young or their territories or they're starving or sick. I'm not afraid of wildlife, just cautious."
