Emerson agreed with that. "Writing out everything would probably be a very good outlet. I find it very therapeutic. I don't know if you're interested in art, but any sort of creative expression is an amazing way to release emotions you've kept inside."
He smiled a little. "I am happy to hear that," he said. "I'm positive that you can get through this. It helps that you want to heal, and you're not trapped in an emotional downspiral keeping you in pain. You're not the proverbial 'victim.' You want to get beyond this and move on. I think that is the first step towards the healing process."
