Reed didn't think he'd ever laughed so much as the afternoon Emerson joined him and Jim in playing basketball. It was possibly the funniest moment in Reed's young life. Seeing his beautiful boyfriend swamped in his clothes was like watching a small kid play dress-ups with their parents things. To say Emerson has been good would have been an outright lie, but he had improved somewhat. Although he and Jim had laughed a lot, there had been a lot of times where Emerson had been laughing too. He had been just so cute, Reed really couldn't help it.
He'd been feeling like a bit of a slacker, what with all the chores Emerson was doing, so he had offered to help with the dishes. Being assigned drying, he wondered if it was because his boyfriend doubted his commitment to really clean dishes. It probably wasn't too far off the mark, to be fair. Reed's attitude to cleaning was very lax.
Smiling at his adorable boyfriend he took the plate he offered to him and started to dry it. He peered into the hot water. "You need more bubbles. How can you be sure it's really clean if there aren't hundreds of bubbles?"
