She nodded her head, figuring that it was more comfortable to stay at school since it must have been more familiar to him than attempting to get a place of his own. Had he started to reach out and speak to other people? She didn't want to nag him, to talk about the benefits of getting to know other people in this time, but she didn't know what his situation was. Perhaps there were other reasons for him staying at the school.
Another nod of her head at what he said, but her heart sank when he mentioned Draco. Perhaps he had not seen her recent entry, but she was still trying to understand the situation. If Draco was indeed gone, had he gone back to his own time? Or if he and Zuko had gone off together, why had he not let his family know?
"Yes, with Draco and Pansy...family," she corrected him. Although it was also true, with the time difference, they did feel like friends as well. His comment about Pansy did not go unnoticed and she glanced at him, the conversation she had had with her daughter coming to mind. "She is my daughter," she said, correcting him for a second time. "She seems to have gotten an idea from someone that she is not a Black." She shifted her position to look at him, tucking her dress around her knees in modesty.
