Pansy shot Lavender a halfhearted sneer in response and wandered further into the kitchens, away from the other girl, with her nose in the air. It wasn't long before she'd found Dobby, who (much to her annoyance but not at all to her surprise) shrunk well back upon seeing her. Sure she hated the rat but he worked in the kitchen and she needed her Firewhiskey and goddammit she was going to make this crying thing work for her if she had to. Although she tried to maintain her cold and regal air, she didn't bother controlling the warbles in her voice when she told the house-elf, "I would like to have some Firewhiskey."

Well, now that he realized she was on the verge of crying, she could see Dobby slowly straightening back up from his shying-away posture. She needed that fucking Firewhiskey. Grimacing internally, she added one word: "Please." And soon Dobby was telling her to follow him.
