Regulus,
I can see you this afternoon, dearest. I'm completely freealthough I need to send an owl off forProfessor Dumbledoand you know I would never refuse a chance to help you. You're my favourite for a reason! Would you like me to visit you in the Alley?
Oh, that's a funny story, actually. I was able to catch it in one of Mother's antique baskets, and from there I took it to the guest's bathroom. I set up a plate of warm food, a pillow and a heating charm, and waited for the little critter to make itself known. When I went in there later in the evening, he (or as I soon found out, she) was curled up under the sink. I cleaned her over with a charm, made sure she was fed and nursed her back to health. Druella wasn't happy at the fuss, but I sent the kitten along to one of the apothecarist's in Diagon last week, who deals with that sort of thing. She has a new home now, I hear, with a lovely young girl who's leaving for Hogwarts in September.
But oh, Regulus! You finally found a kitten of your own? I'm so pleased to hear it. Sirius - don't pay him any mind, he'll get used to it eventually. He's always been odd around felines, but for the life of me I don't know why. Boy things, I suppose. But anyway, as I said, I'm available for you this afternoon. In fact, I think I'll start making the trip over now. No buts.
Love,
