Hestia didn't think too much about the one-armed hugged, because she was so happy to see Mary. Mary was one of those Gryffindors who was ballsy and a load of fun to spend time with -- the perfect type of companion for the ball of energy that was Hestia. "Oh love. That wasn't your mind. I was in Russia. A spy. You know. Like James Bond. Only I make Sean Connery look gooood." She winked playfully.
"Me? I'm pretty fabulous, didn't you know? Running mum's greenhouse down the way, actually. I was on my way home when I saw the most gorgeous bird a lady could find. What about you? How was Russia? Oh wait. Don't tell me - I was there. Kidding. But seriously. How was it?" The questions were rolling off of her tongue at an exceptionally speedy rate, which was only to be expected when Hestia was even more excited than usual.
"So are you busy? Want to grab some dinner or something?"
