While he browsed the booklet, Leanne finished putting away the last of the new truffles she'd brought out, remaining ready to leap into action before he could accuse her of making him wait. His question caused her eyebrows to lift slightly, but it was a fair one so she wasn't annoyed and simply shrugged. "I never liked hanging around and doing nothing, and since my father has the company well in hand, there's not much for me to do. Plus I needed a change of scene. This is just a temporary lifestyle change," she glanced around the cafe. "Some might think it's a step down, but dealing with the public on a constant basis is very challenging, and I think it'll do me good to face that challenge."
