Emerging from the lift a few minutes later, Cho paused to breathe in the scent of the cool evening air before heading over to where Oliver stood. Tonight was an important night--for more than just the Gellys. It was the anniversary of the day after the war ended, the day her life began anew, and she wanted to remember all it, even the painful parts. Smiling a little to herself, she reached for her bracelet and twisted it three times before sliding in next to him at the railing.
"Hi again," she said, slipping her hand into his.
Oliver smiled down at her. "Hi." His eyes darted up and down, and his grin widened as he took in the way the moonlight silvered her skin, drawing out the contrast between her dark hair and eyelashes, her face and neck, and the satin of her dress. "You look gorgeous."
Grinning and feeling very much like a school girl, Cho bit down on her bottom lip, and resisted the urge to to snog all the freckles off of his face. She knew (even if he didn't) the reason she couldn't take her eyes off the little brown specks, but it didn't make it any easier of a task. "Mmm hmmm."
