Log: Alicia & Richie Who: Alicia Spinnet and Richard Bradley Where: Cho's amazingly awesome tree house in Cumbria When: Tuesday April 22 (Late evening) What: Tree house take-over at it's finest
"Why are we raiding Cho's tree house again?" Alicia asked, adjusting her weight as she stood on one of the sturdy branches of the large tree. She leaned over the branch she was leaning on to glance down at Richie, raising a brow. "Other than the fact that raiding tree houses is fun, of course." She'd never been in Cho's tree house before. She really didn't even know Cho had a tree house, which was unfortunate. She probably would have spent a lot of time there. She had had one when she was younger. With a tire swing, too.
"She never let us come up here," Richie said as pulled himself up onto a branch. "No boys allowed." He glanced over at the sign Cho had made as a child, which decreed that very same thing. "I am a bloke, you know."
"I never had a girls only club. I was always running around with the boys in the neighborhood, coming home with skinned knees, and a dirty face. The only thing I didn't do was bring home bugs to my Mum." She grinned down at him, climbing up in to the tree house, and sat down right at the door way, waiting patiently.
Richie laughed. "I think this was a Cho only club," he said as he climbed the rest of the way to the tree house, finally ending up in the spot next to Alicia. "Did you bring her fireflies?"
"No. No fireflies, either. They were bugs and I don't do bugs." She looked over at him for a moment and gestured to the sign. "No blokes allowed, you know. But, if you want to come in, then I think I'm going to have to get an entry fee." She grinned, holding out a hand to him.
Taking her hand, he laughed. "What's the fee?"
"Hmm. I don't know. I'm a pretty pricey sort of girl. What do you have that you can hand over?" She gave his hand a light shake. "I'm not picky, though."
"I have one of the new Snape cards," he said with a wink. "Will that do?"
"A Snape card?" She made a face and shook her head. "No. I don't think that will do. Anything else?"
"Squirrel ammunition?"
"No. I don't pelt squirrels with anything. That's mean, remember?" She made a face, pulling her hand away from his and lightly jabbed her finger against his chest. Alicia leaned over a bit from where she sat and let out a low whistle. "Long way down from here, you know..."
"You're going to push me?" he asked, pretending to be offended. "And pelting squirrels is mean.."
She turned her head, glancing at him and laughed. "No! I'm not going to push you. Oi." She snickered, tucking some hair behind her ear. She scooted over and turned to face him. "Fine. I can waive the entry fee. Just don't tell anyone I let you in."
"If we're going to break the rules, we might as well brag about it."
"True. It would be sort of boring if people didn't know about our adventure." She shrugged and laid back, staring up at the ceiling. "This place needs a skylight right there." She gestured to the ceiling before putting her arms behind her head. "What do you think?"
"I think it wouldn't be too hard to manage with our wands," he agreed, leaning back.
"Shame. We should suggest it to Cho. See what she says." She chuckled, turning to lay on her side to face him. "We should come here more often. I like it here. Even if you don't bring good entry fees with you." She grinned and reached over, tapping her finger against his nose.
Before her finger left his nose, he grabbed a hold of her wrist and pinned it against the floor of the tree house. "Alicia, Alicia," he said, maneuvering his body so that she was pinned beneath him as well. Then, closing the gap, he kissed her, hard. "Now, what were you saying?" he asked finally, pulling away and propping himself up on his elbows.
Alicia blinked a few times and let out a rather surprised noise when he kissed her. Unexpected, it took her but a moment to regain any sort of bearing left, and she returned his kiss. She looked a bit flushed when he pulled away and shook her head, grinning up at him. "So sneaky, Richard Bradley. So sneaky that, well, I can't let you get away with being so sneaky." With a smirk, Alicia hooked a leg against his and, pressing her hands against his shoulders, rolled them both over, pinning him down neatly beneath her. "See?"
"Pinned me again," he said, winking.
"I'm good at it. What can I say?" She chuckled, leaning down and pressed a soft kiss against his mouth. "But I think I'm better at that. I can say the same for you, too, I guess. You're not half bad," she joked with a smile, sitting back a bit against his hips to keep him well pinned.
He grinned. "Agreed. You're pretty good. For a squirrel lover."
She rolled her eyes a bit, but smiled none the less. "You and your squirrels, I swear. I know what I'm getting you for the holidays. I think a nice stuffed squirrel would look ace in your office. A reminder of all those poor animals you pegged with Merlin knows what. Why am I dating you again?" She was joking, still, of course. She still thought the squirrel thing was hilarious.
He raised an eyebrow. "Do reserves get offices? I suppose I could keep it in my locker."
"...Reserves? What reserves!? Did you make reserves somewhere and not bloody tell me!? Richie!"
He laughed. "Not yet. Have to finish out the year, but I'm hoping... The Bats might take me back, yeah?"
"That would be fantastic! You'd be brilliant. They'd be daft not to take you back." She slid to sit next to him. "Cheering for Puddlemere and the Bats. I'll have to go undercover to your games. Unless we're playing against your team. Then I'll be waiting in the locker room with a comforting hug and kiss when we win." She chuckled with a smirk on her face.
"Puddlemere's good, but they're no match for the Bats."
"Oh really? Is that so? You will to make a friendly wager on that? Remember what happened the last time we made a wager, though," she poked lightly, stretching out to lay against his chest, leaning against her elbow. She raised a brow, idly tracing her finger against the material of his shirt.
"Yeah, you're not coming up with the terms this time."
"My terms weren't horrible. You survived, didn't you?" She paused and continued. "So, what are you terms, then?"
"Our first match against each other... If I win--and I will--then you owe me--" He pressed his lips together, thinking. "A foot massage."
"That's all?" Alicia shrugged. "You have yourself a deal. As for my terms? Well, I'll decide on that when the time comes. I like that suspenseful feeling you know." She sat up and finally stood, finding she could fully stand up in the tree house.
"I'll add more later," he said, following her lead and standing as well. "Depending on what your terms are."
"No, no. Once you make them, you can't add to them. So says me, so don't ask 'says who', so there." She grinned, crossing her arms against her and leaned against him slightly. "Let's spend the night here."
Reaching his arm around her shoulders, he pulled her closer to him. "Sounds like a plan."
"It does, doesn't it? I make amazing plans, too, apparently." She turned to face him and slid her arms around him, pulling herself even closer against him. She leaned up and gave him a quick kiss. "Think Cho has some blankets and pillows?" She pulled away for a moment, unzipping and pulling off the black track jacket she had worn over a simple, black tank top as requested, and began looking around.
"Look behind that chair thing," he said, nodding towards a cloud shaped chair. "I think I saw some when we first got here."
"Ah ha!" Glancing behind the chair, Alicia pulled a blanket from behind it and held it up. "Here we are." Alicia plopped down on the cloud shaped chair and gestured for Richie. "It's squishy! Come here and try it." She moved over a bit to give him room.
"You asked for it," he said before plopping down on top of her. "Have fun sleeping like this, Spinnet."
"Oi! Richie! Get off!" she laughed, even if the sudden weight had left her slightly gasping for air. "If you break something, Wood'll have your head! And Cho will have your head for breaking her chair!" She retaliated with a series of pokes and prods against his sides; the wrestling match just continuing from earlier.
"Alright, you win." He laughed and rolled onto the floor. "Can't have any of that."
Slipping down to the floor with him, Alicia was a fit of laughter, laying comfortably on her stomach. She rested against her elbows, chin in her hands, smiling over at him. "So, we're renaming this Alicia and Richie's tree house. We'll have to make a sign."
Richie raised an eyebrow. "We can charm the 'no boys allowed' sign to read what we want."
"Well, we could, but where's the fun in that? Unless you want it say something new every time we come to visit." She shrugged, resting her head against his shoulder. "Then we can charm it. It'll change colors, too."
"What did you have in mind then?"
Alicia shrugged. "Richie and Alicia's House. No entry allowed unless you have one of those names. How's that? We can make it blue with white lettering." Richie made a nice, soft pillow Alicia decided.
Richie yawned. "Sure, whatever you want."
"You're too easy, Mr. Bradley," she mumbled against his shoulder. "Unless you just don't want me throwing a tantrum." She slid her arms around his arm, hugging herself close to him. "I can throw pretty nasty tantrums I've been told."
"You haven't met my sister yet. Then we'll talk about tantrums."
"No. I haven't. I should meet her sometime. What do you think? Or would she try and throttle me for dating her brother?"
Yawning again, he shrugged a little. "She's friendly enough."
"I'll take your word for it." She was quite for a few moments before scooting closer. She slid an arm around him, resting her head under his chin. "You're nice and warm. Better than this blanket."
