Hannah's smile fell then, although her expression remained calm, almost peaceful. "After that fight we had, the next day he said...he said we could talk about it someday. Which is all I can ask...although, I don't want to have children without being married, so...I don't know how much that means."
"Oh," Cho said. Quinn's stupid curse. "Well, I'll share mine. Maybe you can live next door or still...still underneath me."
"I'd like that," Hannah said. She swallowed, and then, looking up at Cho, managed another smile. "We're young. I know we're young. And we'll work it all out down the line. That's what I hope, at least. That you're right and he'll do the right thing someday...no, that he'll want the right thing, since I don't want to...well, there's a reason I don't want him knowing about this, right?" She sighed, looking back down at the baby, but then her brow furrowed. "Wait--still above us? You live with us--with Quinn, I mean."
"Right. Of course, I meant that maybe we could live in a flat still and cut holes into each other's flats, or... I wasn't really thinking."
Hannah laughed. "A secret passageway would be fun," she said, her brow smoothing again. "We'll probably live in a flat, anyway. Or something like that. I can't see Quinn living on Wimsic Alley, although that leaves the question of what to do with the house."
"You can run a daycare out of it," Cho said. "for all the babies you should have."
"I'm not sure I like kids that much!"
"Oh fine," Cho said with a laugh. "It was an idea, though."
