Sabine was glad that Cho had left the option of either relaxing with Jonas and a book or hanging out with Katie, Quinn and Hannah. She didn't mind being with Marietta who was now Hannah, but the other two made her twitchy. Especially Quinn and his adoration of Cho. Sabine was worried that left too long around him she would be unable to resist the urge to punch him in the nose. Especially now she had snooped through Cho's stuff (who wouldn't!) and found that stupid marriage contract. At least now Cho's mad rush to marry was making sense, but Sabine still thought she - and Quinn - were incredibly stupid, selfish people. Making all these other people suffer and jump through hoops because of a contract they made as (very stupid) kids! Sure, she felt a little sorry for Cho after seeing the stuff relating to Cedric and Michael, but... other people lost loved ones in this war. Cho was not the only injured party so why should she be special? Plus she had the support of so many people! It was truly unfair in Sabine's opinion.
So, the quiet time when she could just read and pet the cute kitty Cho owned was just what Sabine needed to work out the emotions welling up inside. The tension hadn't gone away though and as she returned to the flat, she could feel her shoulders getting tight. Maybe she should have said she was sick or claimed she really wanted to stay with Jonas. Would Cho do that? Probably not.
Damn.
Using Cho's key, she entered the flat and paused after closing the door, shutting her eyes and drawing in two deep breaths. I can survive, it's only three hours.
