Steve wished he had a better idea of what had happened to Bucky After they'd hit the water, but he felt like at the moment he wasn't in much of a position to ask. The ice they were both standing on felt too thin for sudden movements or questions that probed too deeply, especially when they were both so unfamiliar with their current surroundings.
The best thing to do right now would probably be to send his inquiries outward. To find out if there was anyone else that he knew here, and whether or not someone was willing to hand over more information than what they'd currently been provided with.
