Donna's advice had been to take steps towards ending her isolation. Which was easier said than done, of course, but Emma already knew that only she could really get herself out of the funk.
After haunting Jefferson and Natasha's apartment, a brief venture to the labs, she figured actual interaction was the next step. Not that Rosalind hadn't been lovely, just... less likely to actually bother Emma. Spending time with Killian was familiar and, in a sense, like ripping off the bandage. Without a buffer there to offer distraction it would be therapeutic, she hoped, to just spend some time outside of the apartment.
If there happened to be liquor then that was just an added bonus. She got the feeling that the conversation might call for some depending on just what had happened to lead them to Neverland. She'd never asked before, mostly because she wasn't entirely on board with the 'future' thing, but there was less and less reason not to know when the general idea was that no one remembered this place anyway. Which actually was a great thing right then, because Emma was looking forward to sleeping sometime in the future.
The Bootlegger wasn't fancy, and Emma rather appreciated that. Trust Hook to bring a little pirate with him.
Heading inside, fully intending on getting through this without too much pain, Emma smirked slightly. "Well, this is the cleanest pirate establishment I've ever seen. It's also the dirtiest, since it's the only pirate establishment I've seen." But just a touch more welcoming than the Ratcatcher, not that it was surprising at all.
