Take me in into your darkest hour Who: Anna and Elsa, sister queens When: Tuesday evening Where: Loki's apartment building, then around town What: Anna helps Elsa look for Loki Warnings: Sad feels; sisterness Status: In progress
Part of her felt ridiculous about this. After all, it hadn't even been two full days since she talked to Loki. They weren't so codependent that they needed to talk to each other. It had happened before since they started whatever it was they were doing. Sure, it was unusual for a call to him go unanswered, but what did that prove.
Because really, even if he was gone, it was likely that his disappearance wasn't any different than that of Hans, or Stiles. Besides his belongings remaining untouched (and really, knowing this town, how reliable could that be?) no tangible evidence that he was anywhere but back home.
But there was just something that didn't set well with her about his sudden disappearance, and it wasn't sadness at the idea of him being gone. This was something else. That she wasn't the only one feeling it (and that Loki wasn't even close to the only one missing) convinced her that he (and Killian, and Emma, and the others) hadn't yet left town. Which, of course, carried quite a few negative implications with it.
So when Anna agreed to help her find him, she hadn't hesitated to rush to his apartment building (which she'd already check twice, but a fresh set of eyes wouldn't hurt), glad that her sister had picked up her since of urgency.
When the front door swung open, Elsa turned in anticipation, relieved to see Anna walk through the door. It had only been a few minutes since they'd spoken, but her anxiety had been racheting quickly, as evidenced by the light snowfall that was just beginning to accumulate.
