A frustrated grunt was Snow's only response to the monster that had erupted from the portal, suddenly making her and Hook's job much harder than it had been before. Not for the first time, she wished David was here. He'd always been the surperior swordsman. Not to mention that an extra set of hands at this point would be a huge help.
Pulling her sword out of the creature she'd just managed to impale, she redirected her focus, attempting to account for the other members of her current team. Although he looked anything but happy at the moment, it did look as if he was finally making a difference on the size of the portal. Emma was clearly keeping a close eye on him, and was successfully luring any demons that made their way towards the two away with her fireballs. Hook was also holding his own admirably, despite the fact that the majority of the demons seemed to be swarming toward him.
Swiping her sword at a creature charging toward her, Snow turned to look at him momentarily. "On your le-"
Her warning develoved into a squeak when a sudden, sharp pain erupted in the right side of her back, causing her vision to blur suddenly. She looked down just in time to see a sharp, twisted claw retract from the hole it had just made in her abdomen.
Instinctually, Snow stayed as quiet as she could, even as awareness began to slip, and she felt the world tilt as she collapsed to the ground.
