Team Daenerys!
The chaos from the rifts and the demons was, sadly, exciting to Wolverine. The thrill of the fight, of his claws slicing through demons, was exhilarating. It was what he did best, after all, and that was something that Logan could never get rid of no matter how hard he tried. He used to wish for some tranquility, and while it did bring contentment he never felt quite so alive as when he was fighting.
He had made his way through the town, killing errant demons as he came across them. Some were gruesome, multiple heads and legs with sinewy bodies that bled with open sores. Others seemed almost comedic until they opened their mouths to show rows upon rows of razor-sharp teeth, or to release a banshee-like scream. For those instances Logan was glad, for the first time since he arrived in Marrowood, that his senses were dulled here.
The Wolverine found himself following the glow of one of the largest rifts he'd seen, a dark green cloud that loomed overhead and swirled with hellish energy. A guttural growl came from his throat, but none so loud as when he saw the lone woman there, hand raised to the rift as demons began to surround her. He darted forward without hesitation, claws released as he balled his hands into tight fists. He sliced at the demons that took notice of his presence, and came after him. He dispatched them quickly, strong and powerful claws moved through some of the smaller demons like butter. Bigger demons, though, well they took a greater effort to take down.
Logan finally arrived at Dany's side, claws and teeth bared. If there anything Logan couldn't resist it was a damsel in distress, though she seemed less like a damsel with a sword in her hand.
"You better stay behind me, Highness," he told her over his shoulder. He had heard enough chatter through the streets that those with the mark were key to closing the rifts. He hadn't seen it personally just yet, but he was prepared to do whatever it took to protect the younger woman so she could try. Because as much as he liked the fight, demons in the town were no good for the citizens. Logan wouldn't be able to protect them all, and that was guilt that he wasn't prepared to live with.
