Team Kenzi!
Closing the rift, having them bozos stay right where they were - that was like, the most ideal situation ever. Maybe luck would love them enough to shine upon them in their amazing glory, but considering this town's shittastic reputation of constant doom-and-gloom, that ain't gonna happen.
Sucking in a deep breath, she nodded and extended her hand out, palm exposed. Another crackle, another light, that uncomfortable pressure when both the mark and portal seemed to react off each other. Getting as close as possible to it was the only way to get this party started, so she did exactly that. The cloud rippled and sparked with what almost looked like green electricity, and right when she got what seemed to be the right distance...
There it was - that harsh pull that made her dig her heels into the moist earth, her shoes already immersed in some shallow water, and a brilliant emerald light shot from the mark, making a straight connection to the rift. It was a harsh kind of brightness that burned the eyes and the power alone made Kenzi's position while standing look uncomfortably unstable. Her free hand slapped over her wrist in attempt to keep the arm steady, still as could possibly fucking be.
"Hey--this--this ain't to bad, ladies! I mean, it feels kinda funny, but--"
Water spouts erupted from the lake, and bursting out came the demons ready to play.
