Anna and Ariel, Gingers to the Death
Marrowood laughed in the face of the safe route. Because no matter which way you turned, what path you took, nothing was safe. So Anna supposed that Ariel was right, that really, they didn't have much to lose. At least, if they died, they'd for sure get out of here. And would end up back in bed - more than traumatized, but out of the hotel. You kind of had to take what you could get.
That didn't mean she wanted to run rushing toward those doors, however. She got the worst feeling. Pretty much the clanging and banging of a symphony of alarm bells.
"We may as well," she said with quiet determination. "But we definitely go together, no matter what."
