Robert and Jean, later
Ah, the Sleepy Hollow. What a wonderful hotbed of paranormal activity that Robert could study, analyze, and hopefully gather enough of its energy to run a few more of his and his sister's devices. It was odd that Rosalind did not want to come with him, but ever since the network incident with Emma Swan, well, Rosalind was detached from the town. She was focusing more of her time on their work, trying to find a way out of Marrowood. She didn't want to be there any more than anyone else, but Rosalind was spurned and that seemed to give her more motivation than normal.
She had even pulled away from Robert a bit, but not enough to sever their deep connection. He knew she would come around eventually, the woman needed her own time.
And so Robert was in the Sleepy Hollow, with a large bag full of equipment, and completely trapped on the top floor with someone, or something watching his every move. Robert did not remember the top floor being as large as it seemed on this night, but he was not on edge. He knew that eventually he would get to leave, or come face-to-face with whomever it was that was watching him with intense eyes. Robert let out a sigh of exhaustion, and set down his bag for a moment. He saw a flash of red hair around the far corner, and odd occurrence since the previous figure he saw was transparent.
"It is comforting to see that I am not alone on this floor," he said loud enough so the figure could hear. He did not want to startle her by approaching from behind.
