Anna and Ariel, Gingers United
"Well, if it is a pit to hell, you're certainly not going first," Anna insisted, but in the scheme of things, what did they have to lose? Besides their lives, but at this point, you kind of just had to learn to take chances - more than you would otherwise, probably. Still. That didn't mean Anna wanted a good friend of hers to just disappear into a black hole. She'd at least test things out first.
Reaching into her bag, she pulled out one of the random bits and bobs she'd taken - and she'd taken a bit of everything, from pine cones to salt shakers (to use the salt as 'snow' and put little mini deer and evergreen inside for a winter landscape, you know, for cute decorations!) Then she tossed it down the chute, leaning forward to listen to what happened. All she heard was it pinging off the metal and then nothing. No explosions or sounds of wailing.
