Beth and Loki - secret passage
Bright, safe ideas usually were something of a contradiction for Loki. He was an adept thinker and strategist but when it came to playing it safe that was not usually in the cards. The hotel was eerie but he was not afraid.
"I believe that would be the intent behind getting our intention." Whether or not it was a trap was another story. Did it matter? They were already at the whims of whom or whatever had trapped them here without a reason why. What did they have to loose?
Placing his hands over the wallpaper, Loki smoothed his hands over the surface, feeling for something out of the ordinary. He turned his head to put his ear to the wall to try and hear for another sound but there was nothing, so he wrapped a knuckle along the side until he found what he was looking for--a hollow spot. A knock against the would be door clicked it out of place and with a dry creak, the knobless door opened up for them to a dark and damp walkway, hidden under the stairs.
Glancing back to Beth, Loki gave a light shrug and set the emerald magic in his hand ablaze to light the path for them. Everything about this screamed 'no, go back, bad idea' but did Scooby Doo ever listen? Did Indiana Jones? Nay. "Ladies first."
