Beth and Loki - secret passage
The Sleepy Hollow Hotel was creepy. She'd noticed that during her first, short stay there, and she'd noticed it again upon her return. Usually, she didn't go into creepy hotels on purpose, but she'd needed to get the bottles she'd left behind for Ariel. She'd survived a few nights in the Sleepy Hollow. She could handle a quick trip in and out.
How wrong she had been. The hotel seemed to have its own intentions in regards to its guests. It was as though the hotel had a mind of its own, and as Beth quickly discovered, a will to keep her (and everyone else) inside.
She'd been looking for another exit when she came across the staircase. There was a sound in the walls, unlike anything she'd be able to identify, and then the distinctive knock. She swallowed hard, looking at the young man next to her. The knocking seemed to carry up the edge of the stairwell, each one a little more distinct than the last. "Yea," she said, "think we should follow it?" It wasn't exactly her brightest idea, trying to track down a ghost, but if it meant being able to get the hell out of this hotel, she'd take it.
