Last order of business - Town morale
"Well," she began tentatively. To be honest she ignored a lot of what she had heard in the beginning, chalking it up to hearsay and rubbish. But the longer she stayed in the town the more she grew to feel that the stories were true. She had yet to experience anything truly terrible during her time in Marrowood, and she wasn't sure that she wanted to. She liked the normal, quiet life, but she was sure she would get no such thing in this place.
"Well I've only heard stories of monsters, but no details. I think I'm still adjusting to it all. My town, Pawnee, is the greatest in the world, and the closest thing we had to a monster was the 512 ounce drink that Paunch Burger tried to push on the public." She smiled sheepishly at Rick, and let out a sigh.
"I'll do my best with the mayor and let you know what he says, if anything. And I wouldn't know the first thing to do in a horror situation. I mean, I can handle a shotgun pretty well, but does that even work against monsters?"
Oy, her head was starting to hurt. This place was going to be the death of her, she just knew it.
