First order of business - Security: Babydoll & OTA.
Babydoll had planned to show up late to the forum being held by Leslie Knope - the resident newbie, and wanna-be organizer, but something urged her to leave her apartment on time. She made it to Hocus Pocus and stuck to the shadows as people began to shuffle in. The young blonde picked a seat closer to the back of the club, away from the crowd mostly, and near the door should she need to make a quick exit. Chewing on her bottom lip nervously, she glanced around and was about to give up trying to sit through this thing, but then Leslie took to the front of the seats and spoke into the microphone.
The woman looked exactly as Babydoll pictured, then again, she didn't really know what she was expecting from Leslie Knope. She sounded so perky and hopeful in her messages, that her voice matched exactly the way her words read. Babydoll looked around the audience to see exactly who showed up.
At the mention of security, Babydoll looked directly at Leslie, a brow arching curiously at the woman. She really had no idea what was going around this town, huh? Crossing her arms over her chest, she pursed her lips and debated if she should say anything or not. Exactly how many other people were here from the sheriff's station? Finally, she just sighed and stood up, might as well clue to this woman in if she was going to try and shape things up around here.
"We have patrols," Babydoll called out from the back of the room, cheeks instantly flushing as anxiety ran up her spine for even deciding to speak up, "There are shifts, and those that signed up and volunteered for the task know who they are and when they are assigned to go out. The sheriff's station is always open for more people to volunteer for shifts, but we know it's risky, and we know some people don't want to be put in danger like that." Babydoll didn't know who this 'we' was she kept saying, but it sounded right in her head, so she kept on speaking, "I -- um. I suggest you check with the station." She looked directly at Leslie, before glancing around the audience.
