From what Leslie had seen Marrowood could use a good place to spend their time. There was a lot of doom and gloom all over the place, and if there was just one place, one that people could go to and feel safe and comfortable, then it was worth Leslie's time.
She arched a brow at Killian as he started to explain the "pirate's way" imagining it to be something that involved drinking a fifth of rum or maybe walking the plank into safe waters. But no, noooooo. He planted a kiss right on her lips, and her cheeks turned pink from it. She barely noticed the slight sting from the facial hair, but she didn't mind. Maybe she would have minded it if she knew where she and Ben stood. And she did, kind of. She had heard from Andy what her future held, but now that she was here would that all change? Was it wrong that she enjoyed the kiss?
Leslie didn't want to think about it. Instead she smiled at Killian. "I like the pirate's way," she said with a laugh. "I wonder if we can make that the official way to close deals." She nudged him with her elbow. "I better go and start making some plans, and we'll get this place tip top in no time. Leslie leaned in and kissed him on the cheek.
