But I wants it! I wants all the things!!!!
Leslie had all of Pawnee that didn't want to change: men, women, and children. They all were so adamant against some of the things she was trying to do to improve the town that sometimes she felt like an outcast. It was terrible to feel as if the town she loved so much didn't love her in return. It honestly broke Leslie's heart. But she tried not to dwell on it. She smiled at Mary Margaret, listening attentively to the other woman's words. She could tell that they were already on the same page when it came to ideas. There was no way anything would get done if people were complacent, and Leslie hoped she could change that.
"Complacency kills," she said with a shake of her head. "But I don't see a reason why we can't be a little bit comfortable while focusing the right people to finding a way out of this place." Leslie reached for one of the big binders she had put together for this meeting, and placed it on the table with a slight thud. It was heavy with all of her ideas, and she hoped Mary Margaret would help to implement them.
She didn't open her color-coded binder just yet. Leslie listened to Mary Margaret's story, and nodded. She could keep up with her questions where as most people gave up after the first one or two. She was definitely going to be her new Ann because Ann was the only other person that could keep up with Leslie, all while keeping her grounded.
"Storybrook sounds great," Leslie said. "It sounds like they made it after Pawnee." Leslie added with a laugh before she opened her binder.
"But enough reminiscing. We should really get down to business." Leslie reached for another binder, and handed it to Mary Margaret. It was exactly the same as her binder, but for her new friend to follow along and keep. But not make changes unless they made them together because they'd have to always be on the same page if any of this was going to work.
"The Leslie Knope Guide to Revamping Marrowood, or the LKGRM. I stayed up all night finishing this. And before you ask, yes, I wrote it all out by hand."
