*hugs back*
It was strange to her just how quickly Leslie took control of the situation, not allowing for any real small talk or easing into the heavy part of the conversation. After all, the woman had just arrived in an unfamiliar town, one with unfamiliar rules and events, and was surrounded entirely by unfamiliar people. Most took weeks to adjust, and she was pumped up and ready to take charge in just a few days. She was both impressed and perplexed.
"Wow, those are... very good questions." She said with an awkward smile, trying to figure out what to address first. Why did she feel like she was on a job interview? "I'm from a town called Storybrooke, Maine, which is... much more interesting than it sounds." It didn't seem wise to get into the details of her history just yet. Not when Leslie still seemed to be in a bit of denial about Marrowood's strangeness.
Furrowing her brows, she folded her hands in her lap and tried to answer the remaining questions as best as she could. "I don't have many hobbies, but I teach the fourth grade. I find that to be pretty fun. As for my favorite meal of the day," she said smiling up at her friend, "I don't know that I've really made a choice on that. But I have a feeling that I know yours."
