Isaac & Tommy
It was official: Tommy was going to burn this forest to the ground, and not give a shit. The roar he heard sounded painful, nearly anguished, and it fueled the fire more - not exactly helping with him get a grip on himself, but more like increased his hatred for their kidnappers and the town tenfold. He pushed himself until he nearly ran through the monster that had killed Isaac, and before the ugly thing (there was no light, not anymore, but Tommy was sure it was ugly) could take a swipe at the Young Avenger he slammed his hands down, grabbed, and flung the creature with all his might - the ensuing vibrations and vaporization of the beast was not pretty, a shower of blood and guts that smelled like the bowels of Hell, but at least he was rid of it now.
Then he made a choked sound of regret as he fumbled for Isaac, forcing himself to calm down so he didn't vaporize him. It took a few minutes but when Tommy could breathe he picked Isaac up carefully, fireman's carry, and began running.
Dodging the explosions and fires he'd made, he kept running and running until the light from town felt harsh on his eyes.
