Isaac & Tommy
That was probably the drawback of being paired up with hero types. The ones that wanted to save everyone, or at least had backbone. But then Isaac needed to wonder if he'd leave Tommy in a different situation. He'd like to think he wouldn't.
Not that it really mattered right then, they were too lost for it to really matter and now it seemed like everything was on fire. The flare meant that Isaac really couldn't see anything, the roar and crack of fires and trees meant he couldn't really rely on his hearing either. Then there wasn't really much point in trying to focus at all.
It wasn't so much a claw as a spear that caught him in the side, slicing through his hip and abdomen and sending Isaac to the ground with a roar of surprise and pain before he could even really contemplate rolling away or howling for help or warning, the spear like claw came back down and went right through his chest.
Even Isaac knew then, werewolf healing or not, there was nothing that would help now, his heartbeat already slowing in his own ears and the warmth from blood and fire fading out to nothing in the back of his mind before his eyes slipped shut and his last rattling breath gargled out onto the cold ground.
