Isaac & Tommy
Their options were severely limited, being that a large chunk of their group had suddenly vanished. Tommy didn't want to take chances - but if they hoped to get anywhere, they had to do just that, and make decisions on the fly. He was good with assessing the clearing, or rather, seeing what exactly was going on with the sparse trees - but okay, what the fuck. Tire treads, really? In the forest, out of the blue? Tommy crouched to beam the flashlight on them, checking it out. "No, not so much," he said, confusion ringing like a bell in his tone, because the sudden appearance of a path - enough space to let a car travel to and fro - was a little weird. And made zero sense, like most everything about Marrowood.
"I mean, there's that gas station in town, but it's abandoned. Awhile ago a car supposedly appeared there. Not sure what happened to it though, like if people scrapped it for parts or what." It sure as fuck wasn't functional enough to go on a road trip. "We're gonna follow the path, right?"
Because they'd found it, may as well see where it went. If it went anywhere.
