Jeanette & Hook
"It moved." That was about all the explaining she could really give on the 'blue', since blue was good it stood to reason that perhaps the blue aura was one of the others, or more of them. Probably the doctor or the kids, the blue had barely a hint of darkness through it, which meant it was good. Most people at least had something shifty in them.
"Don't scratch the trees, they're alive," or at least bordering on being sentient maybe, "they might get mad." She'd seen a movie one time where the trees could attack, she'd rather not get ripped apart by some branches, thank you very much. Far too 'wooden stake' for her liking really. "Maybe stones for a trail, or dragging your sword, make a path." She really couldn't see it working, what with the living trees and all.
"You think the trees are maybe evil? That'd explain a bit, evil trees in an evil town with evil mayors and an evil plot? Oh, would that make us the heroes? Never been a hero before. Not exactly my calling." She was too busy running a club and being a thorn in Therese's side. All for the giggles, that was Jeanette's unlife.
