Comment Posted Successfully She couldn't help but playfully roll her eyes at his reaction to her declaring that there was no them, knowing that, despite his confidence, he wouldn't do anything that she wasn't comfortable with. He'd been adamant about that from the very beginning - not pushing her - and she couldn't say that it hadn't played a part in the feelings that she had for him. She held no illusions about his reputation, and the things that he'd very famously done, but her knowledge of this didn't change the fact that she'd never seen the man he was supposed to have been. In all her time knowing him, she'd only known this him - the patient, kind, playful him that wouldn't dare do anything that would potentially cause her harm. She wasn't a fool - she knew that this did not mean that those other qualities did not exist, she was just far beyond seeing them out of the context of the man that she'd gotten to know.
"You make it very difficult to make the safe choice, do you know that?" She said softly, lacing her fingers together and leaning into the table, moving her head just slightly closer to him. "It'd be much easier if you weren't so very genuine."
