Sorry this is so late!
Did this guy not know what a high-five was? Leslie was shocked. What person didn't know how to high-five! Here was this guy that seemed to know everything there was to know just from looking at her, but he didn't high five. Instead he wanted to give her a hatchet, and she pursed her lips at his words.
"Fine, sure, I'll take a hatchet," she said to him, but her hand was still raised. Leslie's free hand reached for Sherlock's free hand, and in a quick motion she raised his arm high enough that she could force a high five on him. "There, that's better." She lowered her hand, and smiled at the tall man.
"Sherlock, that's a great name! I really like that! And you're from England... ugh. I've always wanted to visit but I haven't had the chance!" She was looking at Sherlock a bit starry-eyed, and maybe it was a bit disconcerting, but Leslie was not the type of woman to hold back her feelings and thoughts. Unless it would in some way endanger her job, but that wasn't the case here. There was nothing in danger here since she didn't have a job, though that wasn't to say that she wasn't worried about Pawnee. How was it doing without her? If she was stuck here did time stop back home?
That didn't make any sense, and the more she thought about it the more her heart raced and she could feel the anxiety growing in her chest. If she didn't calm down she was going to need to sit down to regain her composure. Focus Leslie, focus! She looked up at Sherlock again, and smiled.
"I haven't been called refreshing before," she said to him. "Annoying blonde, the Parks lady, and hey you!, but never refreshing. That's nice." As much as Sherlock was planning on making Leslie his new drug, Leslie needed for Sherlock to be her rock. She was a strong woman at the core, but even strong women needed help as they traveled through life.
"I suppose you want to see the foot now," she said to Sherlock. "And then we'll go find a hatchet. We Pawnee women are well-versed in all things hunting, don't you know? Heck, I could even wield a shotgun if we needed it."
