WHO: Isaac Lahey & Princess Anna
WHERE: Their apartment
WHEN: Thursday night; full moon night
WHAT: Isaac is denning. Anna is It's a thing, leave him be.
WARNINGS: Ridiculous amounts of adorable in one place and wolfy ways.
STATUS: Complete
His first full moon hadn't been terrible. And Isaac was more concerned with the fact that he was used to this place, or close to used to it at least, which was probably telling in that he just accepted that. But it was starting to feel a little more stable anyway. He had a place to stay that smelled so very intricately of him and Anna that the scents were starting to mix into a very homely comfort, he had a job he didn't hate that didn't include dead bodies.
He supposed he had Stiles, which okay, was familiar enough to be a comfort.
It wasn't exactly easy, not having an Alpha near to keep the control tight, to steady the constant prowl of his wolf, but there were other factors that were definitely helping on the way to it.
He'd opted to attempt to stay in his own apartment this time, warned Anna ahead of time, but in a stubborn way that Isaac was coming to accept, Anna was resolute in not abandoning him -which he kind of thought was nice and sweet and made his chest hurt in a good way. He'd already figured out how it was best to manage things if she was so insistent on staying around, which was probably better.
He'd already set up a sort of nest of blankets and pillows on the sofa, where their mixed scent was most concentrated from the movie nights and the snuggling and Anna falling asleep a lot, he'd fished out some of Anna's candles that had a more woody smell just for the comfort and had proceeded to sleep almost all day in the nest of pillows and blankets, alternating between human and beta form just to wear himself out before Anna got back to the apartment.
The TV was on for a sort of background noise, enough that Isaac was hoping they'd make it through the night like it was nothing different from just another night with the TV and food and whatever else, despite the fact that he had fangs, claws, yellow eyes and questionable hair growth.
