"Yes, it's blood," Robin snapped, rolling her eyes as Barney began to develop a full-on histrionic fit. She hadn't wanted to lead with this, not at all, but it wasn't exactly easy to hide what she looked like. Robin wasn't exactly vain per se, but she did like to look good. She was sure she looked disgusting now.
But then it sunk in, what he'd also said. "2008?" Robin stepped toward him, eyes narrowed. If he was older than she'd known him, that explained the difference in appearance. "It was 2006 at home." She knew people were coming in from different times and places, but she'd thought that if someone was going to be coming in from her reality, they would've been from the same time. It certainly did explain why they had differing memories of the last time they'd seen each other --
"You slept with me?" Robin reached out and shoved him hard on the shoulders. "Are you for real? What about Ted?"
